Applications Announced for ICF Latvia Prism Award 2018

On March 8th, 2018 during the business development conference ICF Coaching Conversations 2018 >11 Secrets for Successful Teams, the ICF Latvia Prism Award will be presented in Latvia for the second time. The award is for the highest coaching standard and its goal is to popularise coaching as a leadership and employee development instrument, as a professional and effective approach for achieving results.

ICF Latvia President Gita Meldere: “It’s exciting to see that the initiatives and projects submitted for the ICF Latvia Prism Award are very bold – businesses are increasingly choosing to integrate innovative leadership methods in their activity. These examples of good practice show that coaching programs and methods implemented into the everyday activity of organisations can develop an maximise people’s potential, thereby creating a return on investment and reaching the organisation’s goals.”

ICF Latvia invites applicants to submit development projects implemented in their, or their client’s business, which were realised through coaching methods and completed by the application deadline of January 31st, 2018. The project subject can include such areas as employee development and training, increasing work efficiency, internal communication improvement and other leadership areas. Both coaches and companies who use the coaching approach at their work are invited to submit projects.

The Prism Award has been presented throughout the ICF global network since 2005. The global award was won in 2017 by AFCC Automotive Fuel Cell Cooperation Corp. (AFCC), in turn receiving recognition – EY. The Prism Award has been presented to such companies as GlaxoSmithKline, Coca-Cola HBC Russia, Ericsson Hungary Ltd.’s Research and Development Center, Google, as well as others. Since 2017 the ICF Prism Award has also been presented in Latvia. The award for outstanding results using coaching methods was awarded for the first time in 2017 to Accenture Latvia.

The ICF Latvia board invites you to look at the ICF Latvia Prism Award regulations and apply by completing the application form by January 31st, 2018. The submitted projects will be evaluated by renowned Latvian leadership, business, project management and inspiring planning coaches – Inita Lūka, Arta Biruma and Tatjana Dremļuga. About ICF Coaching Conversations 2018

The international business development and coaching conference ICF Coaching Conversations 2018 >11 Secrets of Great Teams will be held in Riga on March 7th and 8th, 2018. The two-day programme includes several internationally recognised expert keynotes and practical masterclasses. The conference and masterclasses are expected to attract business managers, entrepreneurs, startup founders, HR managers as well as development specialists, coaches, consultants and experts not only from Latvia, but the whole region. Experienced experts and practitioners from the Netherlands, Russian Federation, United Kingdom, Latvia, Lithuania etc. will speak at the conference.
